By visiting the Store or placing an order, you agree to the policies below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store. We may update these policies from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the Store constitutes acceptance.

Terms of Service

We sell books and related products in digital formats (ebooks and audiobooks) and in print (paperbacks). Digital products are delivered electronically, typically via BookFunnel or a download link. Paperbacks are printed on demand and shipped to the address you provide at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, and to update, change, or discontinue products and prices at any time.

Content Notice — Historical & Public-Domain Works

Many of the titles we publish are based on older prose and historical writings, including works in the public domain that were originally written decades or centuries ago. These texts are products of their time and may contain language, terms, names, characterizations, concepts, depictions, and passages that are outdated, culturally insensitive, or offensive to modern sensibilities.

We make a genuine, good-faith effort to review our titles and to remove or revise the most egregious examples. However, given the age and volume of this source material, some offensive or objectionable content may still be present. Its presence does not reflect the views or values of Desert Raven Press, and the inclusion of any historical work is not an endorsement of the attitudes expressed within it. We preserve and republish these works for their literary, historical, and cultural interest.

By purchasing, downloading, reading, or listening to our titles, you acknowledge and accept that such content may be present. If you have a concern about a specific title, please contact us at info@desertravenpress.com.

Shipping

Paperback orders are typically printed and shipped within a few business days. Delivery times vary by carrier and destination. Shipping costs and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our control. Digital products (ebooks and audiobooks) require no shipping and are delivered electronically, usually immediately after purchase.

Returns & Refunds

Digital products (ebooks and audiobooks)

All sales of digital products are final. Ebooks and audiobooks are delivered instantly and cannot be returned. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on digital purchases. If you have trouble accessing or downloading your files, email info@desertravenpress.com and we will make sure you receive what you paid for.

Paperbacks

We accept returns of paperback books within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, email info@desertravenpress.com with your order number.

Return shipping must be prepaid by the customer. We do not provide prepaid return labels. The book must be shipped back to us at your expense. Once we receive the book in resalable condition, we will refund the purchase price of the book. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Orders & Payment

All prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments at checkout. You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

Intellectual Property

All books, cover art, text, and other content sold through the Store are protected by copyright. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-commercial license to read or listen to the content. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell our digital or print products except as permitted by law.

Privacy

We collect only the information needed to process your orders and communicate with you — such as your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. Payment is handled securely by Shopify Payments; we never see or store full card numbers. We do not sell your personal information. Our products are sold “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desert Raven Press disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Store or our products.
