In the shadow of the pyramids and the Temple's walls, Anat, a blind Egyptian girl, flees with her brother Seth from slave traders who covet her voice and her sight. They seek refuge in the desert, where they encounter a healer who offers hope but also danger. As they journey toward Jerusalem, they become entangled in the early Christian community, where the High Priest Caiaphas and the zealous Saul of Tarsus hunt those who follow the Nazarene. The air crackles with tension as Anat's blindness becomes a metaphor for the spiritual sight the community desperately seeks. When the Sanhedrin's wrath descends, Anat and Seth must choose between safety and the faith that has become their only compass. The desert winds carry whispers of a God who sees the unseen, but the path to freedom is paved with peril and the ever-present threat of capture.
