Set in the 1st century AD during the Roman occupation, she navigates the tension between her Jewish faith and the growing conviction that Jesus is the Son of God. As the Temple's rituals feel hollow and the city buzzes with whispers of a coming Messiah, Adina's faith is tested by the priests' opposition and the crowd's shifting loyalties. She struggles to reconcile the prophecies she's studied with the humble, suffering figure who claims to be the Christ. As the Passover approaches and the shadows of the cross lengthen, Adina must decide whether to cling to tradition or embrace the radical truth that threatens to shatter her world.
