A Western set in the Asper Valley, Montana.

In the rugged Asper Valley during Montana's Gold Rush, Vic Pierce, a miner haunted by loneliness, finds himself hunted after a fatal confrontation over the woman he loves. Meanwhile, Dan Barry, known as Whistlin' Dan, rides through the mountains with his black stallion Satan and wolf-dog Blackwood, desperate to reclaim his daughter Ally from his wife Josie who has taken her to the Cumberland ranch. The valley holds secrets of a past killing, a daughter caught between two worlds, and a man who will stop at nothing to protect what's his.
